Allan Miller was appointed Chief Operating Officer of Surat Basin Rail Joint Venture in September 2011. He takes over from Warren McReight as project leader.

Allan brings a wealth of experience in project delivery to Surat Basin Rail. He has held various senior roles and general manager positions within the engineering and construction industries throughout Australia and Southeast Asia for the last 35 years.

As Chief Operating Officer, Allan will drive the competitive ECI process for the design, construction, commissioning and maintenance of the railway, which will provide greater certainty on price and risk outcomes for the project.

Everald Compton is regarded as one of the pioneers of the fund raising profession in Australia.

Born in Toowoomba in 1931, Everald lived in small bush towns in Queensland during his school years before qualifying as an accountant and then becoming the longest serving fund raising consultant internationally.

Everald is an author who was awarded the Order of Australia in 1992 for his services to the community. Many of the political leaders of Australia are his personal friends.
